Ania Wells

Ania Wells serves as Executive Director of Medicine Horse, bringing a deep commitment to community, mental health access, and the connection between people, animals, and nature.

Ania has been part of Medicine Horse for four years, working closely with its programs, fundraising, operations, community partners, volunteers, and supporters before stepping into the Executive Director role. That experience gave her the opportunity to know the organization well and, just as importantly, to know the people and animals who make Medicine Horse such a special place.

Her vision is to help Medicine Horse grow while staying true to what has always been at its heart: creating a welcoming place where people can find healing, belonging, and meaningful connection. She is passionate about expanding access to equine-facilitated mental health programs, strengthening community partnerships, and creating more opportunities for people to experience the powerful relationships that can develop between humans and animals.

Ania holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Colorado Denver and a Master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from Kraków Academy.
