“Connection is why we are here.

We are hardwired to connect with others.”

~ Brene Brown

Giddy Up is a group for high school-aged teens and their parents/caregivers looking to improve relationships with themselves and others through the healing power of horses.

Giddy Up is offered to high school-aged teenagers for 6 weeks, in addition to offering parents/caregivers of participants two weeks of psychoeducation and skill building, to help improve communication and connected relationships in the home. Participants and caregivers will be supported by licensed therapists and graduate-level counseling interns.

Throughout the group, participants will learn about themselves through mindfulness practices, skill development, and relationship building. Horses allow for a safe and unique learning opportunity where participants can explore their boundaries, personal awareness, safety, and relationship patterns.

This program is funded by grants and is offered at no cost to participants. Donations are always welcome and appreciated.
