Medicine Horse is excited to offer a unique equine training opportunity for those in the mental health field. Whether you are a graduate student, a post-graduate, or a practicing professional, this introductory training will provide foundational knowledge in equine-assisted interventions—no prior equine experience required.

Training Details

Time: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM (with a one-hour lunch break from 12:00–1:00 PM)
Cost: $400 ($50 early registration discount if you sign up before January 1)

Meet the Facilitators

Dana Shultz

Carina Kellenberger
Dana Schultz and Carina Kellenberger are both licensed clinical social workers (LCSWs) with certificates in Animal-Assisted Social Work from the University of Denver’s IHAC program. They are also certified in TF-EAT (Trauma-Focused Equine Assisted Therapy) through the Natural Lifemanship Institute. Since 2013, Dana and Carina have run their private practice and collaborated with universities, non-profits, state organizations, and private practices to provide equine interventions in a variety of settings, including corporate retreats, wellness clinics, individual and family sessions, and support groups.
