Kelley Dean

Kelley is a sculptor and educator who brings a unique blend of creative vision and lived experience to the Medicine Horse Board of Directors. With an MFA in sculpture and a childhood spent among the horses of her grandfather’s farm, Kelley has always been fascinated by the intersection of form, spirit, and nature. Her commitment to Medicine Horse is rooted in her own journey through significant health challenges, including surviving a broken neck and a more recent battle with breast cancer. As a graduate of the breast cancer support group, she is a vocal proponent of equine-facilitated therapy. Kelley is honored to serve an organization that provided her with a path toward healing and is eager to help expand its impact within the community.
