Individual Therapy Scholarhip
The Medicine Horse Scholarship for Equine-Facilitated Psychotherapy is a unique opportunity aimed at providing mental health support to community members in need. Rooted in the belief of the transformative power of equine therapy, this scholarship offers individuals facing financial challenges access to these transformative therapy services.
Purpose: We are excited to offer 10 scholarships, each covering 8-sessions of one-on-one Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy. Whether you're navigating life's challenges or seeking personal growth, we're here to support you.
Eligibility: Applications are open to anyone seeking one-on-one therapy.
Scholarship Amounts and Payment: Ten scholarships will be awarded in amounts of $1,000 per scholarship, which covers 8-sessions of one-on-one Equine Facilitated Therapy. Scholarship money will be paid directly to Medicine Horse. Funds will not be distributed in cash and will not be given to the recipient.
Other: Applications will be accepted and considered without regard to sex, religion, ethnic background, race or national origin. However, the recipient must meet criteria for therapy in order to receive the scholarship.
No-call, no-show policy: After two missed sessions without 24-hour advance notice, you will lose the scholarship and it will be given to the next person.
