About the Program
A Space to Connect, Regulate, and Explore
Start the new year with intention, connection, and self-discovery at our New Year’s Horse Camp for Weld County teens ages 13-18! This 6-week program offers a unique opportunity for teens to reflect on the past year, set meaningful goals for the year ahead, and build emotional resilience through interactions with our herd of horses.
Participants will engage in activities such as grooming, leading, mindful horse interactions, and creative crafts that support self-expression and reflection. Please note that this is a non-riding camp, with the focus on forming connections with the horses from the ground. The program is designed to foster emotional regulation, mindfulness, and personal growth in a safe and supportive environment.
This program is funded by the Weld Trust and is offered at no cost to participants. Donations are always welcome and appreciated! MUST be a Weld County Resident to attend.
