Grief Support Group

This Grief Support Group is a 4-week program for adults ages 18+, that offers support for those who are experiencing grief due to a death loss (both human and animal). We will spend time exploring the nature of grief through connection, mindfulness, discussion, and observation. 

Through our six weeks together, our animals offer their presence, support, care, and sensitivity. The herd allows each participant a chance to create a healing and authentic relationship as well as support each other on your journey to wholeness. Show up just as you are and find support within our herd—both human and equine. 

Challenge by choice is a core value here at Medicine Horse which means that participants are encouraged to participate to their level of comfort, we always have shade, chairs, water, and alternative spaces for folks to maximize comfort and our mini horses, donkeys, goats, and sheep can offer connection that may feel less intimidating than interactions with large horses.

About the Program:

• Duration: 4 weeks
• Start Date: Friday, August 16 - Friday, September 6th
• Time: 4:30 - 6:30 PM
• Cost: $300
• Eligibility: Adults 18+ who are six months out from their loss

Refund Policy:

• Refunds: Full refunds are only available if requested before August 1st. No refunds will be distributed after this date.
• Program Cancellation: If for any reason Medicine Horse cancels the group, full refunds will be provided.
• Session Postponement: If Medicine Horse postpones one session due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, a make-up day will be provided. Refunds will not be provided if you miss a scheduled session.
