Halcyon Students at Medicine Horse

Why Horses?
Horses are naturally intuitive and responsive to human emotions. By observing and interacting with them, veterans gain unique feedback and insights that foster growth and healing. Whether it's standing alongside a horse, grooming, or participating in an activity, every interaction is guided by the core value of "challenge by choice," ensuring each participant engages at their own comfort level.
Medicine Horse and Clinica are partnering to offer a unique Equine-Facilitated Learning (EFL) program for Halcyon School students ages 10-16, made possible through the generous support of Clinica and Medicine Horse. There are two different program dates available. Both are 3-hour sessions designed for a small group of up to 10 participants each, creating a personalized and immersive journey.
Participants are welcome to sign up for one or both sessions. Please note that while both sessions will offer a similar experience, attending both can provide additional opportunities for connection and reflection.
