Weld County Resident Scholarship
In partnership with the Weld Trust, we are excited to offer individual or family therapy scholarships, each covering 6-sessions of Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy for those who are impacted by cancer.
Purpose: In partnership with the Weld Trust, we are excited to offer individual or family therapy scholarships, each covering 6-sessions of Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy for those who are impacted by cancer.
Eligibility: Applications are open to anyone who has been impacted by cancer, including those who have recently received a diagnosis, those who are undergoing treatment, and those who consider themselves survivors. Applicants must also be a resident of Weld County.
Scholarship Amounts and Payment: Scholarships will cover 6-sessions of one-on-one or family Equine Facilitated Therapy. Scholarship money will be paid directly to Medicine Horse. Funds will not be distributed in cash and will not be given to the recipient.
Other: Applications will be accepted and considered without regard to sex, religion, ethnic background, race or national origin. However, the recipient must meet criteria for therapy in order to receive the scholarship.
No-call, no-show policy: After two missed sessions without 24-hour advance notice, you will lose the scholarship and it will be given to the next person.
